Bryan's Comment
We have been growing hops here on our Shuzenji Brewery Gardens grounds now for four seasons. Although we have planted a handful of varieties, to date only two are growing well in our latitudinally challenged location – Cascade and Shinshuwase. The combination of the two in this Golden Ale produces a lovely nutty-fruity-floral hop aroma and flavor. The bitterness is round and soft.

We have been growing hops here on our Shuzenji Brewery Gardens grounds now for four seasons. In this our third
season, we finally were able to harvest enough hops to brew a full 10-HL batch! Although we have planted a
handful of varieties, to date only two are growing well in our latitudinally challenged location – Cascade and
Shinshuwase. The combination of the two in this golden Ale produces a lovely nutty-fruity-floral hop aroma and
flavor. The bitterness is round and soft.
